My name is Sven Fauth.
I love to create and explore fractals with my computer and most of all seeing them in nature and human creations.
I think if we understand the nature of chaos we’ll have a chance to understand life itself…

I’m into fractals since 1994…
Fractint was the first program I used and it provided just 256 colours and it was sloooow…

The program I like most at the moment is called “Apophysis” a so-called fractal-flame generator.
Other programs I use are “Fractal Explorer”, “Incendia”, Structure Synth”, “Ultra Fractal”

The best known fractal ist the Mandelbrot set:

A fantastic book about fractals is "The fractal Geometry of Nature" by Benoit Mandelbrot
